How simple our problems were when we were a teenager. When the toughest part of the day should've been what we were to choose for lunch from the tuck shop... When in fact, we poured all our energy into identity crisis, avoiding embarrassing situations and does my friend still like me??
Telling a teenager that they are "enough" is not really something that gets across to them, they must do. For this podcast I've gone into the how and why of what builds insecurity in teens.
It's a journey they must take, but we also can guide them along the way as a mentor.

In today's episode of Generation Get To It we explore the principle that will make you feel stupid for not doing. It all stems from a great book called Atomic Habits by James Clear.
When I started my health journey and then moved into coaching, I found that the bigger the work in many cases returned less investment than doing the simple things. It was a case of going too big and falling off the wagon.
However, when we are specific and small in our progressions, this can lead to huge gains. Find out how I do it.

What does it mean when we pass through our younger years?
Are we on a constant downfall to eternal old age?
Or are the best parts of life just fingertips away?

This episode may not answer any of those questions but there are definitely many lessons (often convoluted) about life and how I've processed things during my time.

Listen to this episode, take time to reflect on your own no matter how young you are and put together your own journey.

10 Lessons;
1. I still feel like I'm 21
2. One more is rarely the answer
3. People are looking at you less and often more
4. Most things, no matter how great and amazing will suck at times
5. Don't wait for the grass to grow before watering
6. Shampoo twice, condition once
7. Don't flip the board playing monopoly
8. I won't feel guilty about eating Tim Tams
9. The further from yourself, the more stressed you are
10. Life is just a game
