Welcome back to Generation Get To It! Today, we’re diving into a topic that might make some of our younger students of life feel very uncomfortable: failure. Yes, failure. That word we’ve been taught to avoid at all costs. But what if I told you that failure isn’t the opposite of success—it’s the pathway to success? In this episode, we’re going to reframe failure, learn how to fail forward, and discover why mistakes are the best teachers we’ll ever have. Whether you’re a parent, a student, or someone just trying to figure life out, this one’s for you."

A 2023 study from Common Sense Media found that teens spend an average of 7 hours and 22 minutes daily on screens, with social media being one of the biggest contributors.
Social media is one of the biggest contributors to teen mental health issues and it only continues to grow.
So how do we as parents, educators and as responsible role models actually limit the amount of screen-time our kids have and also how do we use it as a positive influence rather than a negative influence.
This episode explains how big the problem is, what is contributing to poor mental health and practical solutions to manage it.
